All in the food we Eat

It's been a long old winter but we are finally seeing the sprigs of spring! So whether you’re in the midst of trying to recover your locks from the harsh winter or simply want longer hair then we have collated some tops tips on what to eat for healthier, longer hair.

1. Salmon: If you like seafood then it's good news for your hair and skin. Fish is loaded with Vitamin D and protein which supports the hair in regrowth. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids that promote growth by keeping your scalp healthy.

2. Eggs: Conditioning your hair with eggs enhances hair growth because eggs contain lots of protein. Hair is composed of 70 percent keratin protein, so egg protein helps rebuild damaged hair by filling in weakened spots along the hair strand, which temporarily strengthens the hair. If you don't want to condition your hair with eggs then eating them also helps, they are an excellent source omega-3s, and contain biotin (which many people trying to grow their hair take in supplement form).

3. Avocados: The superfood never fails to impress, they have added ability to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the hair causing natural hair growth.

Almonds: Eat one cup a day and you should see longer hair within a couple of months due to this superfood containing nearly one third of your daily magnesium. Because of their biotin content, tese nuts will make your hair grow faster and thicker within no time.
